Objectives: Learn and apply Cascading Style Sheets, Multimedia, and web validation tools, to create interesting, effective, efficient, and accurate web pages.
Assignment 1: Create your Home page for CIS236. You may use your old Home page from CIS136. Add the following to your page.
1) A CSS that contains the styles used in your page, and is referenced externally from the head section of your home page. 34%, see "Estrella DHTML and CSS, Chapter 1" for Examples.
2) A multimedia download or embedded file in the form of a wav, mp3 or other supported format. Include a hyperlink so the file can be played on the client computer. 33%, see "Carey HTML Chapter 10" for examples.
3) All of the html brought up to xhtml standards as specified in the W3Schools website . 33%
Please publish your home page to either Tripod or another web host. See CIS136 assignment 3 for detailed publishing instructions. Enter your home page url into the W3Schools XHTML validator tool, and hand in the printed output. Be sure to include your name, and url.
