Objectives: Learn how to use a web DHTML generator to create interactive features. Study the basics of DHTML, and learn how to generate, modify, and customize the generated code. Event handlers, and basic JavaScript commands are introduced.
Assignment 2:
a) Use the <layer>, the <div> and
DHTML statements to organize your home page. Hint: You may use the Dynamic Drive website to
generate your dynamic html. 50%
Either b) or c) below, or both for extra credit!
b) Write a simple script using event handlers,
such as mouseover, to add dynamic image effects to your page. 50%, see "Carey DHTML Chapter 3" for examples. or
c) Search the Internet for dynamic content
scripts and add one to your web page. Include an explanation of the
script, how it works, and how you added to your site. 50%, see "Estrella JavaScript Chapters 1 and 2" for examples. Hand in a print out of your
home page with your name and Internet URL.
