Here is some plain text. We will view this plain text outline of sessions 2 and 3 and convert it to an htm web page. Browsers can be used to display more than just HTML. Browsers also support file extensions such as .pdf, .doc, .ppt, .xls, .txt, .wav, .exe and others. Some file extensions will require browser plugins or specific client software to display or execute. Browser plugins can typically be downloaded from the Internet for free and are easy to install.

1)Answer questions pertaining to assignment 1. It is due next week. Recommendation should be no longer than 1 page, front only.
2)Download and install atomica.com and use it to define terminology on assignment 1. Explain that a download comes from an ftp location which is located in the address.
3)Preview of HTML. What is HTML. How to view and save source code from a browser. Discuss ethics of copying web content.
4)Begin organization and requirements: Show how index.html is the default first page by drawing a diagram of a web server as a box with directories and pages.
